The Ellis Outdoor Cat House and Cat Run

Designed and manufactured with both cats and their owners in mind, the Ellis combines practicality, durability, and attractive styling, making it a perfect addition to any garden or outdoor space. Suitable for year-round use, it offers plenty of room for cats to explore, play, climb, and relax in complete safety.

The generously sized cat house measures 4ft wide by 30 inches deep and features a large access door for easy cleaning and access to bedding, toys, and treats. A safety-glazed window allows natural light into the house while giving your cats a view of their surroundings. A fitted cat flap provides convenient access while helping to reduce draughts.

The pent-style roof slopes to the rear for effective rainwater runoff and is covered with heavy-duty roofing felt for long-lasting weather protection. The floor is constructed from durable 12mm exterior-grade hardwood plywood, ensuring strength and longevity.

A ramp leads from ground level to the entrance ledge, allowing easy access to the cat house. Beneath the house is a full-width shelf that provides a comfortable resting area or practical storage space for litter trays and accessories.

The spacious walk-in cat run measures 6ft 2in long by 4ft wide and stands 5ft 10in high, allowing easy access for owners. The run is clad with heavy-duty 16-gauge, 1-inch square galvanised weld mesh, which remains rigid when climbed by cats and helps protect against predators and unwanted visitors. A secure access door fitted with galvanised pad bolts provides added security.

When assembled, the standard Ellis Cat House and Run has an overall footprint of approximately 8ft 8in long by 4ft wide. The modular design allows the run to be configured in various layouts and extended in both length and width. Optional security porches are also available.

The cat house and run are constructed from smooth-planed, pressure-treated tanalised timber with attractive shiplap cladding. All components are screwed together for maximum strength and durability, while the natural timber finish complements any outdoor setting.
